Dang, it's bothering me a bit because I had no problems with figuring out sweeps myself before, but now I'm really stuck. Hope you guys can give me some advice. Here's the sweep in question (it's pretty basic)

d d d d d h p u u u u u
|----------7h10p7----------
|--------8------------8--------
|------7----------------7------
|----9--------------------9----
|-10------------------------10-
|--------------------------------

I just can't manage to 'brush' the downstrokes, I still keep playing them 'individualy'. I've included the example here I've tried and I've tried and I just can't brush the notes, it's pretty wierd. I haven't got the problem with other sweeps since they go rather smoothly (well, at least I think) What am I doing wrong ? Is it something in my head ? :) Or is it just tuffer nut to crack then I'm used to and should al try even harder ? Any advice at all, Much appreciated

Make sure your useing your wrist only and not your arm
when picking the notes.
Also with your left hand you should be just rolling off
the notes .
What you want is a flowing water-falls sound.
Try useing very little of the pick plus just push right
into the notes with your pick.
You could also just try your sweep by just useing 4th
string down and back .Another way is just try the Aminor
3 notes at the 12th fret on the High E B G Strings for
warming up.
