Glen Campbell on CBS Sunday Morning

CBS Sunday Morning just had an article about Glen Campbell. The main point of the article was that he is now dealing with Alzheimer's disease which is, of course, sad.

I have never much cared for his pop music. But I remember seeing him on television a couple decades ago. Maybe it was on the show he hosted. And he really cut loose. The man COULD play guitar.

One thing I found very interesting was he played guitar for both the Monkeys and Beach Boys (Bass when Brian Wilson was out).

The video is up on youtube. As for playing, the guy is one of my idols. He did a PBS show awhile back with loads of great stuff. Look for a cut of Galveston, never mind the nice playing on the front end. Wait untill he starts playing the outro solo. Your ears will be very happy. More than likely, you might just pick up your guitar and try to play it.
