Can anybody tel me the amp setup that Christofer is using in the Core Learning System, cuz I want to match my sounds as close as his for comparison if I'm doing it right or wrong!

Thanks!

I sure can!

I am using a Crate DX112:
http://www.amptone.com/cratedx.htm

It's a small, versatile digital modelling amp. I have the amp model set on "Clean" for 2 purposes.

1. In order to simulate the widest variety of small simple amps that a beginner might be using.

2. In order to emphasize the fact that learning to play guitar with an electric guitar is best done by using a very simple, direct, clean tone. No gain, distortion, special effects or complex tone altering settings; just a little touch of reverb.

The specifics of the settings are as follows:

Master volume: 33% (about 9 o'clock on the dial, or about 3 on a 10 scale).
Amp model: Clean.
Drive: 50%
Bass: 50%
Middle: 50%
Treble: 50%
Channel Level: 50%
Effects: Reverb
Effects Level: off
Reverb Level: 10%

If you tell me what kind of amp you have I can help you get as close as possible to mine, or at least get a good tone for practicing the material in GF.

Hope this helps! Have fun. :)
