[Edit] I feel like explaining One Regret a bit just because it's a pretty horrible job: I had no plans of recording anything, but I woke up New Years day and (having had a recent and moving personal experience), felt compelled to write that song. The style, song, lyrics were all new and not a style I've done hitherto.
I can't describe how this was bursting in my brain. (I might be going crazy, jury's out!) On top of that, I felt this drive to record it, get it all composed, recorded, mixed, and on a CD to a listener before the day was ended. Unfortunately, I had only tried recording half-assedly once or twice, so that's what I ended up with. I still didn't know the lyrics, so I couldn't 'zone'. It's all slammed down as fast as I could get it out basically.
But it got me started, so I've just kind of preserved it as is. And that's my story.
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.
