Hello to all!
I joined about a week ago. I'm 63 and learning guitar (again!). I'm hoping to do it right this time. The site looks good and so far (I'm done with Core 1) is very helpful. I bought a Strat when I retired and decided to try to lean the blues.

Hi George! Good for you for rekindling your relationship with the guitar! I'm sure you'll find lots of good lessons here, and a Strat is a great guitar to learn the blues on.

Hang in there, I play blues as well. It is a beautiful style of music and guitar. I believe that you can play at any level in the blues, that's what makes it so great, from basic open chords and doing a shuffle with them will make you smile.. Best of luck, Blues,is a journey, not a destination. Mayday
