It's hard to choose just 5, but I'll try

D'Jango Reinhardt - Appel Indirect
Les Paul - How High The Moon
Albert King - Blues Power(live) (SRV copped these licks numerous times)
Danny Gatton - 88 Elmira St.
Edward Van Halen - Eruption

Dangit, I knew 5 wouldn't be enough, but I'll stop there....I could change my mind again at any time, though!

Very Old thread, hehe , anyway thanks to anyone who revived this

My top 5 ( just for now :D )

Under the Glass Moon - Dream Theater
Paradise City - Guns and Roses (the outro is nuts, I think the fastest by Slash)
Devil Takes the Hindmost - Allan Holdsworth
Blitzkrieg - Yngwie Malmsteen (some very hard passages, one of Yng's best)
Desert Rose - Eric Johnson
Guitarplaying is 1 Percent Inspiration, 99 Percent Perspiration... :)
