Can someone explain to me how to do this?

I know how to do harmonics, so I might have an easier time.

Whammy bar, or if you don't have a locking tremelo, you can try a behind-the-nut bend.

'Pinch' harmonics can be bent. Do a keyword search on this site. There's plenty of info.

oh, I think i know what your talking about... Christoph's method works for harmonics with open strings, and to some extent the fretted ones..
but for example if you play with the harmonics of Dsus2 (my favourite chord in the whole wide world heheheh)...
e-0------
b-3------
g-2------
d-0------
a-------
E-------
ok, that's dsus2...
You can play the harmonics for each of those by playing a normal harmonic 12 fretts up for example (for fretted strings, what you do is put your index finger over the point, and pluck with your thumb... and viola! A "natural" harmonic)... and all you do then is bend the string as the natural harmonic ring... So for the b-string in Dsus2, you'd frett the string at fret 3, and gently put your index finger on your other hand on the 15th fret, and pluck it with your thumb (quickly lifting your index finger off)... and just bend the b-string as the harmonic rings out... you can play whole songs this way... :D

You can do this ANYWHERE on the frett board with all the control of string bending you'd normally have...
(ther's also another way to do it using a violin bow... but i haven't quite mastered it yet, so it'd be a little premature of me to comment...)
good luck
