I know this is really off topic but me and my friends are going to do a private over night laser tag. but it is $1050 to do a private session. we were thinking about doing a car wash or a karaoke night.

does any one else know a great way to make money FAST!

What is the laser tag event for? If it's just because you guys want to do it for your own fun, then I don't see anyone helping you pay for that with a fundraiser. It's like holding a fundraiser for you to make enough money to buy tickets to Disneyland or something.

How many people are planning on going to the laser tag thing?

You don't have a fundraiser because you and your friends feel like playing laser tag......

If it costs $1,000 and 20 people are going, then everyone needs to pay $50 of their own money. Simple as that. How old are you and your friends? If under 16, I'm sure everyones parents would give at least $20 so their kids can go play laser tag. Then just come up with the rest yourselves. If OVER 16, get a job.

Harsh :)

I think it's a legit question. There seems to be some kind of implication here that this is wrong somehow. Some kind of misrepresentation or something.

Frankly I think someone motivated to actually earn some money rather than sponge off the parents (should that actually be the case) ought to be commended. So, kudos to tab222 for stepping up.

Try the car wash thing. Around here they tend to use local service stations. I would imagine they jusy ask the owner. Probably the owner is happy to do it, since you guys out there waving signs are bound to draw a few customers that might have drove by.

Entrepreneurship and self-reliance has to start somewhere. Good luck!
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.
