cant' reach the b chord

Having trouble reaching to do the b chord. Need some tips been trying just can't get there.

There are many kinds of B chords. Try doing a different fingering. You can make them up yourself, or you can use this website.

You can play it like this:

hold down the note on the 2nd fret with your 1st finger and the notes on the 4th fret with your 2nd and 3rd finger
another way:

hold down 6th string with pinky, 5th string with ring finger, 2nd,3rd and 4th strings with 1st finger.........

How are you trying to play it now? Typically, barre chords are the easiest to play.
