Well you have certainly jumped in at the deep end my friend, but since you are learning this chord, it's worth persisting, I kept away from it for ages because I did not like to play it because I too struggled with it.

I then wanted to play Tequilla Sunrise, The Bm is right there, so I decided to learn the chord and boy did I find it hard (been playing 5 years), it was not the technical bit of where to put the fingers but changing quickly from chord to chord and singing all at once did my nut in, it will give you imense satisfaction when you can just change to a Bm without looking.

It will also take time and patience and practice. Good luck
