when did you start palying? Based on your answer, you just started. The barre chords are all the chords in which you use your index finger to cover all 6 strings in the same fret, ( just like a barre, thats why they re called barre chords ) and the other three fingers in the other frets. All the other chords are called "open" chords, because you use the fingers to cover only some of the strings, and the others will be played as "open strings".
Go to the basic level 2 and you will understand better what I m saying.
Now, if you just started to learn guitar and what you re trying to do is a barre chord, it is perfectly normal that you will find it very hard.. dont be frustrated or worry, it just take some time and practice, your left hand will get stronger and it will became easy, like any other thing.
