This could also be a great selling point for GT for bringing in new members to the site. A place to buy and sell from other guitarists...I'm sure not everyone wants to use evilbay...!!!!

We have tried that previously and it failed for the reasons you mention (people are too spread out all over the world). It's a great idea, but unfortunately there aren't quite enough people here to make it work well.
