Ok so i emailed a company that sells guitar and accesories. They one of the best norwegian sites when it comes to the amount of guitars and so on you can buy.

Anyways heres the setup they gave me, i asked for the best guitar and Reciever for the price of total 500 dollars to 1000 dollars.

Im also requested the guitar to best suitable for Blues, and rock
Then i got this: Squier STD Telecaster
and the reciever is: Fender Mustang I 20W

Heres the pictures of them:

So when you say receiver, you mean amp?

Nice looking gear! Hope you enjoy them.

Sure, I would say so. Plus, if you find that you're not getting quite the tone you are looking for, you can always put FX processors in front of your amp. Once you start doing that, you're into a whole new realm. You'll find yourself wanting this toy, that toy, the toys someone else has, the toys someone else is promoting, the you see on youtube, the toys you see in the stores....

Get ready to open your wallet. :p

your fender mustang amp already has an effects processor in it.

your amp should have come with a manual and cd for "fender fuse".

there, you can load up stomp boxes, change your amp settings, use "post effects" (these are effects that happen to the signal AFTER it goes through the amplifier).

Those are really nice practice amps. But for a while, especially if you life like most of us in a place with closeby neighbors, that amp is going to be perfect for you. I live in an apartment and I think 30 watts is way too much.

thats a great setup though for home (Not just starting out!). cant go wrong with a tele. the tele was basically the first electric solid body guitar (the fender broadcaster). its bluesy when it needs to be, twangy when it needs to be, and can definetly rock out.

nice job!

I have a Mustang 1 amp and I've only been playing about nine months. I'm happy with the amp but my knowledge is limiting what I can do with it. Does anyone know of a good tutorial on this amp to allow me to get the most out of it. Right now I just use about three of the presets. I wish there was a guide to tell you; Stevie Ray sound use ...; Van Halen sound use...; Mark Knopfler sound use...
Any advice?

Thanks man, that's perfect. Got myself registered and started pulling down some settings and backing tracks. A whole new world unleashed.
