just pick up the guitar after 30 years

Just wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone, i learn to play guitar when i was very young. for some reason i gave it up. but i have been listening to music all my life. i found this site and join it . so far i am haveing alot of fun, i cant beleave how much i have forgot about playing. its like starting all over again. i just got a new guitar and amp and haveing alot of fun with it. i got a fender strat and a peavey modeling amp. well thats it for now, your friend Russ

Hi Russ, welcome to the site! Good for you for getting back into guitar again... don't worry, there's lots of us older guys here pretty much in the same boat.. sounds like you picked a really good guitar/amp combo. Have fun digging into the lessons, and let us know how you're progressing!

well i guess i am not to old to learn i turn 64 this year lol. i am learning but at a low pace but its alot of fun when you get it right. i am learning to play the blues right now. its not comeing that easy to me right now. i have to learn hammer on pull off bends but i am getting there lol and trying to learn the blues scale to alot to rember for an old guy, well thats it for now take care Russ
