Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS
Hi I'm Tommy Brown from South Africa. Just bought a new Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS rosewood. Will probably arrive from the USA tomorrow. I bought it because of its playability. I had a Fender (Japanese) before. I suppose its too late to ask now, but is it any good?

You should like it. When it gets to your house, it will have been through formidable envirionmental change, so it will probably need a tweak here and there to the set up.
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.

I bought a fender deluxe last year. It is the standard model not the HSS but it is certainly a fine guitar. I assume you have the S-1 switching system. It really makes the guitar versatile. I have been very happy with mine.
