Hey Tab...
I think you'll find too many answer for that question... everyone has there fav.. I think the venue size may would be a main consideration... but if you are just going to be using it for practice or just jammin' with few peeps, a modeling amp is cool.. (imo)..

I would suggest carrying your guitar to store and trying a few...
In my area Guitar Center has always been helpful, have a ton to select from..
