I managed to figure it out. QuickTime was being a pig and preveting all my other applications from downloadin the MP3. I think its a Steve Jobs conspiracy. Anyway, I disabled automatic use of QuickTime, and now I am literally rockin'.
Again, really enjoy your lessons. Your chord changing excercises with the backing track are really helping me with the muscle memory to learn chords.
