How do I make sound files?

and a soundcard you can simply plug your guitar into the sound card [using a 6.35/3.5mm adapter usually]. You have to set up your soundcard/volume controls to set the inputs and levels. I think that you use sound recorder.

Click windows-help and type in sound recorder that should give you the info you need.. bear in mind it's been about 2 years since i did this ..and the results were quite basic.
