I am in this for the long haul. Wife just approved my pickup of the new gee tar for the 1st. She wasn't too taken with my announcement that I was spending the $1700 on it after we did some research on the going rate from other guitar stores. This Washburn MI 80 Tobacco Sunburst Custom has ranges from $2k - $2.5K so me getting it brand new for $1.7k seems to be a bonus! So on the first of the month gonna be playing a piece of class :D Just wish I could have gotten that Gibson 1960 Eric Clapton Les Paul for that price :D

sounds like fun, a new guitar is always a good thing, especially when it's one you like!

that my wife looks at it this way...anything that takes up my free time is time that I don't have to bug her XD She did let it out that she was going to wind up getting me something for Father's Day anyways.. just that this one is one of my own choosing...leaves that new Riding Mower up for Father's Day now :D
