I agree, I use the POD XT live and it is cool for any kind of music or sound. I would recommend not to use it to connect to an amp directly, but if you do don't use to much equalization from the amp. To get the best out of it I would rather use a valve premp (some years ago there was the Excalibur for example) such as Marshall preamps. From there you could go directly to a PA system when playing live.
