Are you referring to an all in one processing unit? If so, what's your budget? Are you wanting a floor model or something that sits on your desk?

I've used the Behringer V-Amp, I currently own the Line 6 PodX3 as well as currently own the Boss GT10

The Behringer V-Amp is not a bad little starter unit. I'm sure there are others out there like it, I just happen to have experience with it.

The PodX3 is a HUGE step up from the V-Amp. It's got supporting software that you can use on your computer to control it. Or, you can simply control all it's setting directly on the unit itself.

Then there is the Boss GT10. My favorite. More spendy than the other two, but well worth it. There is also free software you can get for this unit as well to control it from your computer as well.

Both the PodX3 and GT10 work as interfaces which allow you to take a direct signal from them, pipe it into your computer via USB and record yourself.

These are just three options, there are many other manufactures and models.
