Hi everyone, hope all are well, Just want to take a moment to introduce myself and my skill level and my future plans, My name is Ed Burton, from Ontario, Canada near Thunder Bay. I'm 56 years old and a complete newbie. I don't know how to read music nor do I understand the notes and such that one would see on a written music sheet.

I have a sigma acoustic guitar which must be 20 years old now or more. It's still in good shape although although I find that several strings tend to vibrate and the B string seems very loose when in tune. (I use an online tuner that uses a mic to tune as I don't have an ear for tuning manually at this time)

My goal is just to play as a hobby at home and for personal satisfaction. I plan to use the Guitar Tricks site as a registered user and then to purchase full access after I've absorbed all the basics as pertaining to a registered user. (budget constraints)
