This is from a 2006 album called Strumming With The Devil. Dave is only on 2 of the tunes, Jump & Jamie's Cryin'.

I don't personally care for bluegrass. Most of those guys have amazing skills, but I just don't like the sound of it (too much acoustic timbre & too little rhythmic variety). But it was a fun one-time listen. I can stand about an hour of bluegrass & I've had my fill for a year.

Check out the samples on the website, though! Eruption on a banjo! And, of course, one of my fave VH tunes translates very well Could This Be Magic?

All in all, just Dave having fun & getting paid. :)

That's awesome. I'm not a big bluegrass guy either, but I like it when bluegrass groups tackle rock and metal.

My favorite bluegrass interpretation..
