If you're buying amps that are made in China, make sure you get a warranty. Sometimes the components can be ultra cheap, and they're not bullet proof like the old Fender and Marshall combos used to be. Remember how Fender re-issued the Princeton amp? I heard they had all kinds of problems, amps just stopped working after a couple of months etc. I also tried one and felt it didn't sound anything like the original Princetons. Not saying that the Jet isn't a good amp, just cover your butt with an extended warranty if you go that way.

I would never pay for an extended warranty. Too many consumer watchdogs have documented what a rip off they are.
