Thank you Guitar Tricks

Just wanted to introduce myself and thank all the team at GuitarTricks for putting together such a great site.

I have been playing guitar for over 40 years now. I used to play in touring bands in the 60's and 70's and some house bands in the 80's. But I pretty much put my music on hold to raise my family. Just played at the occasional campfires, parties and seniors homes. Now that I'm a Grandpa, and retired, I have the time to dedicate to my song writing and playing again.

But, I live in a small rural town in Northern Canada and tried to find someone to show me some tips and techniques. Every music teacher I spoke to wanted to start me out with sight reading Mary Had A Little Lamb. LOL.

GuitarTricks, you are just what I was looking for! Thank you so much. In the two months that I have been a member I have learned more than I have in the last 20 years. Apparently you CAN teach an old dog new GuitarTricks!
