HI Hellsheaven... Being it's on a black finish and where it's located and if it were mine, I'd just cover it with black ink.. PLANET WAVES PW-PL01 looks to be a polish.. It may just fill the scratch with a substance that would hinder future repair.. Your lucky the guitar is black.. My ding is right up where everyone can see it and guitar is midnight wine color.. (Reminds me of having a pimple on my nose..) Good Luck with your fix Gordon

How did you manage to get a scratch way in there? I wouldn't mess with it too much seeing as how it isn't in a very visible spot. Maybe a little black paint that you would get for model cars/planes or something. I'd just take a tiny brush to it with that for an easy "fix". Obviously doesn't fix the scratch but makes it look like it isn't there.

The Sharpie is basicly what I had in mind.. Furniture touch-up craftsmen have a similar product that used to be available at Lowe's Home Improvement.. Sorry I can't qoute a price... But I wpuld guess a Sharpie would be a lot cheaper..
