guitar fret size
hi there I had a quick question about fret sizes and what kind i should look if I have small hands. Any sugestions?

I'm thinking you might mean distance between frets as opposed to the actual size of the fretwire?
You could shoot for the shorter scale lengths such as 24 3/4 on a Les Paul vs. 25 1/2 on a Strat. Or even a Fender Mustang which is, I think 22". On an LP this can put that 7th fret a whole 1/4 inch closer during a blues shuffle over a B chord vs. a Strat. For me, it really makes the difference of being able to completely reach that position or not.
That said, originally I fixated on having the shorter scale length. I've since found I/we adapt somehow to what we need to play and friends say the same thing, so it's not something I worry about now. In fact I play my Strat pretty much exclusively. ;)
And if you are speaking of acoustic, I'm not sure there is as much choice; you are mostly stuck at 25 1/2.
