A friend of mine just bought one as well. I thought the guitar sounded great. He already replaced the stock pickups with Gibson 57 Classics, making the guitar sound that much better.

Congrats! Back in the day when I first starting playing, people frowned at Ephiphones, but they're making really good guitars now. Enjoy it, have fun playing it and one day maybe you can buy a Gibson Black Beauty!

A good Epi is a fine guitar and you can always upgrade to Gibson pickups .......if you want to ...at some point in the future. Have fun with her. :)

Doesn't it feel sooooo good to have a really cool guitar! I remember...my first couple years of playing guitar were played on borrowed instruments cuz my parents wouldn't by me one....then I saved for a year a bought a real nice one that I really wanted. Ahhhhh the love.
