Hello,

I would like to introduce myself here, I am Joël Dikken. I am 17 years old and from the Netherlands. When I was 9 I started playing the guitar, at the age of 14 I decided to quit playing acoustic and go electric. But when I was 16 I quited cause I didnt make enough 'progress' I think.

But now 1,5 years later, I really want to start again and gain more skills. So I searched on the internet for some tabs of some cool songs. I found them but I had the same problem again, its really hard for me to understand a tab and learn it without some support. So I saw a link of this webpage, where you offer people video lessons. After the introducing vid, I signed me up (first for the free one, maybe later for the payed version).

But I still have a question, how do I know at what level I am with my guitar skills? How do I know what video lesson I should watch and practice?

I really hope you can answer me those questions.

Kind regards

ps: Sorry for the bad grammar

If you are having trouble playing tabs, then I think, if I were you, I would just start at the beginning and go through the videos step by step. If it is something that you feel you already know well enough, then just hit the next button and go on to the next video. I have been playing quite a while, and I still go back to the basics to try and learn something that I might have missed out on. So, my advice anyway, would be to start at the very first course, and just keep working up from there. You will probably still learn some things, that you did not know before.

Hi Joël,

We have a structured course just for guitar players like yourself. You should be able to pick where to start based on the lesson titles. We have Fundamentals I for absolute beginners and Fundamentals II for those that already have some knowledge.

From this point you can move on to the courses: Rock, Blues or Country and continue where you left off in the Fundamentals.

I think your guitar playing would benefit greatly from our lessons, 1000s of hours have been put in to make learning an easy experience for any guitar player. And we'll give your money back if you're not happy! (within 60-days).
