Is there a tutorial on learning how to tune your electric guitar?

Thanks in advance for your responses,

I can't recall if there is one here at GT, but I did do a YouTube search and found a few that might help you out. Are you tuning a standard bridge or a floyd rose type bridge?

Thank you, Rick.
But... Oh, man. You put me in a rough spot there, I don't know the answer.
I have an Epiphone Dot, maybe you could tell me?

Daniel.

Hey, Daniel.

You can learn how to tune your guitar in Guitar Fundamentals 1:

In chapter 2 there are tutorials on how to tune using a tuner and the GT tuner, which can be found here:

Hi Daniel...
Chris beat me to the link...
You can input "tuning" in the search box and get several more tunings for other type of guitar styles..
For around $25 you can get a desent electronic tuner does acoutic electric and bass tuning... I have my step-daughter tuner that is a MUSEDO, which is combine with a metronome.. Cool tool to have in your gig bag..
Good luck and keep on pickin'

Daniel.

You have a Tune-O-Matic style bridge with a stop tailpiece. Pretty easy to tune as long as your intonation is set properly. Save $50 or $60 and get that Dot set up at a Guitar Tech. It will be the best money you've spent on that guitar. I've got a Epi Dot also. I love that guitar, It covers ALL the bases of the music I like to play, Rock, metal, blues, jazz Funk.... Great all purpose Guitar.
