Thanks Neal, I know what you mean. When I first started teaching my self to play guitar, I wanted to show my parents what ive learned, but all they said was that i was just making noise. That stuck with me until now. So I told myself that I will never do that to my kids or my nieces and nephews. Im teaching my two nieces guitar and my nephew the uke. My daughter is teaching herself the uke as well. I just love to perform with all my kids, (meaning my kids and nieces and nephew). We try to put on a show every Christmas for the family to enjoy.
