'Distortion' - 3 minute shred fest!

Hey Everyone,
Long time no post, haven't been by in ages. I've improved a bit since I was here last, thought I would share a track with anyone who is interested. This one has every technique imaginable (3 and 6 string swept arpeggios, multi-finger tapping, string skipping, whammy bar, planned solos and jammed sections) and was pretty challenging to play. Some wah pedal in there too - not all shred from start to finish, I tried to keep things interesting and melodic at all times. Bit of rock, metal, shred, neo-classical, jazz and even blues influences thrown in for good measure. Hope someone likes it:)

Wish I could play like that.....been at it 13 years and not even close.

Good to see you still around, not sure if you remember me but you were here when I used to post more often a couple of years ago. I've been playing on and off over the past 20 years - probably around 15 years in total. Never bothered with theory though just went the old fashioned by ear route:-)

Sure do remember you. One of the regulars. That makes me even more jealous haha. Usually the people that just do it by ear and wing it end up having a lot of talent. SRV was the same way.

Nice to see you're still around these parts too:) No problem at all with you adding to The Futurist, actually I'm flattered that you did! You know, I played around with that "you are pukes" sample before myself on another track - I love all of that guys lines in Full Metal Jacket, classic character. Nice to hear the track with those samples, it gives it a cool storyline.
