When you use 1 finger to bar across all the chords. I am struggling with this in a big way. I always have trouble with the 2 & 3 string or the 1 & 2 string. The strings mentioned just gets muted.

One thing that might help, is to lay your finger across the strings, and then use your middle finger to help push down till you get pressure across all the strings. Obviously you can't do that and play the chord at the same time, but it will help you get the feel of what has to happen. Other than that, there is no shortcut. You just have to keep trying till your fingers get stronger.

I am still struggling with barre chords but am slowly getting better. Try typing barre chords in the search and there are quite a few comments which will probably help you.
But I think the only long term solution is to keep on practicing. It has worked for me for all the other problems I have had while learning to play guitar.
