Well, it's only a Maestro. But, he says he's replaced ALL of the components in it with American made, higher end components. Right down to the tuners. And "the only original thing is the body". I asked him to give me a list of all that's in it when I, um, go to pay him for it today (what a great guy...he let me take it with me last night). All I can tell you is that he asked $300 for it and he said he put more than that into it in parts. And I believe him. I played it...and then he kept putting the "$2000+ guitars" in my hands.."try THIS one", and I kept going...."yeah, nice....um, let me play that Gibson again...". It just has such a GREAT sound to it, and I love the feel. He even plugged it into a huge Marshall 350 watt amp and it cooked.
And, look at it THIS way.....I STILL don't have a Fender. So, that's another guitar that I can buy someday! lol
