Hi guys, I'm pretty sure it's not possible but does anyone know if one can extrapolate separate wav files (for each track) of a recorded CD?
Thanks,
Dario

As far as I know you'd have to have access to the original source tracks.
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.

Hi Dario,

You might have a look at Audacity.

It's free software which I used to convert some of my vinyl collection to MP3 from a WAV file recorded via the USB.

Hope it works for you.

Dave.

Doh! I thought he meant to get the guitar, vocal and other tracks of a song extracted. :o

Yeah, there should be plenty of shareware that can do the job. Even if you might have to export them as an MP3 first with iTunes or something, then re-save them as .wav with some shareware.

I am curious, .wav and not MP3 in the first place?

That's the way I took it also. I didn't think it was possible to extract each track from a song on CD either. Would be cool if you could though.
