Tone is fantastic. I've searched decades for this tone. I bought 3 of them, 2 with one twelve inch speakers and one with two tens. They will cost you about a grand but are well worth a lot more. Plenty of power for rock and has a speaker emanation (with volume) out if you need to go to the PA.
I've got one of each (Marshall, Ampeg, Orange, Fender) and these Kustoms are my favorite.
I think these amps are a hidden secret. I play my Strats through them and they are great. Gibsons are even more great. You get the full range of tones for blues and rock. I am so excited to find this tone, I just wanted to share it with everyone. You can find some deals on this amp on Ebay.
