I just recently put together a half-assed recording rig. Here is my setup: Core i5 750, 4 gigs DDR3 ram, 2 X 1 terabyte HDD, radeon 5850, antec 900 case, and 750 watt PSU. Sound card is Cakewalk UA-25EX and I'm utilizing a Axiom 49 midi controller. Guitars and bass are processed through Boss GT6 into Sonar 8. And drums are programmed via midi controller into Sonar.
