I used to play that song, and what you have seems pretty close. On the second half of the D in the verse add C note with your pinky at the 3rd fret.

I think you are missing a D in the chorus somewhere, but I could be wrong. I haven't played this in a couple of decades. I'll see if I have a copy of the song around and give it a run through.
