My only journey into effects so far is a little usb box to plug my guitar to the computer and the Guitar Rig 4 software from Native Instruments.

Just curious, how much did you pay for that thing (or would have if you had not traded for it)? I found a shop putting at at $500.

It also has a USB port so that might be an interesting thing to integrate into my current setup. I'm wondering if the pedals information are recognized on the PC and could be used in software like Guitar Rig that does have support for pedals connected to the PC.
