I was thinking today (as I go in the opposite direction) if your sound's going to be buffered, it makes sense to only buffer it once. There is (imo) a lot to be said for going GT 10 or a good board like it.
Myself, I just went down today and bought a DC Brick for my pedals (and pedal expansion).
