Tab printing
I've been mostly a background member for over a year now. I've noticed that I'm unable to print tab for some of the songs. Why is that? Being able to practice offline with the tab is invaluable as a learning/practice aide.

Are you using the "Print Lesson" link on the right hand side of the lesson page? That is supposed to open up a window of the lesson text, images & tab notation score as a PDF file. This means your computer must have Adobe Reader installed, available for free at http://www.adobe.com.
For example, if you are on this lesson page:
http://www.guitartricks.com/lesson.php?input=14229&s_id=918
And click the "Print Lesson" link on the right hand side under the instructor image, you should get this:
http://www.guitartricks.com/lessonpdf3.php?trick_id=14229&x=97&y=19
Hope this helps! Let us know how it goes.

Apparently the download & print functions are disabled for certain lessons/songs. I'm currently interested in one of my all-time favorites by Willie Nelson, 'Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground'. I thought as a member, we would be able to print the tab for these songs to use as personal aides in learning the song. Guess not.
Disappointing.

Unfortunately, as you said we can't download and print tabs for songs. It is copyrights restriction, I guess.

Oh well; just makes it more challenging. Otherwise the site is great...like having a private instructor available anytime you feel the urge to have a go at it. So much material available if I ever catch up I'll be ten times better than I ever dreamed of being. All I need now is some self-discipline!

1. Bring up the tabs in your browser
2. Hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard.
3. Click "Start"--> "Programs"--> "Accessories"-->"Paint"
4. either paste or hold down "Ctrl" and hit the V key.
5. Change filetype to JPEG and give it a name and click save.

Sgt.,
That process takes a screenshot of whatever you have displayed on your monitor. Go ahead and try it with anything. It will be a picture of the tabs rather than an document.
