Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself here real quick.. I'm currently on my 10th deployment and in Iraq on this one so... I've taken up guitar a little more seriousely as of now. I know basic cords, can listen to a song and eventually pick out some of it but I'd say my hardest hurdle to overcome is the fact that I've played piano for 20 years and still have a hard time with making up my own stuff on the guitar. I'm trying to get into the blues acoustic and figured I'd start here with what some of you think about the best way to start in that realm of playing. Also, due to internet being extremely slow sometimes, is there a better way to utilize this site and not have to "download" the lessons, rather have a disc or two sent to me here? I don't care about cost for sending it really, just need something a little more efficient is all :D Ok well, I hope you all have a great one and any advice, knowledge you feel like sharing is completely welcome.
