Hey Carmine,

Razbo's suggestion of using pencil lead works pretty well. You can just sharpen a pencil and rub it in each string groove on the nut.

Also, after using the whammy on a strat (down motion) you can give a gentle yank up to get it back in tune. It's not always perfect but I've found it works pretty good. I read it in an interview with Eddie VH.
