Some say it is advantageous for lefties to play right. The more difficult stuff is going to be on your main hand. When purchasing, you have a much greater selection in right handed guitars.

And it can be difficult to sell a left handed guitar. Lately there are some left handed Schecters f/s on my local board for months and have been dropped to ridiculously low prices and still they sit.
