Yes, it is sad that he passed. I had the opportunity to see him during his Last In Line tour back in 1984? Was never a huge fan but I hear he was a really good person.

Dio is one of my greatest influences. He is missed but his music will rock for all eternity!

Saw him in 2003/4 - amazing. Opened up with Tarot Woman, then Gates of Babylon, then Sign of The Southern Cross without a breather. The biggest loss to rock/metal (in my view) yet: unfortunately with many of our first heroes pushing late 60's now a sign of things to come...
