Hello I am entering my 2nd year and I am becoming a little more interested in music theory, especially in scales. I have completed the fundamental courses and a little bit of the rock course. I have a basic understanding of whats going on and to my amazement can play a bit.
After taking some of Chris's lessons on the minor pentatonic scale, the 5 box's and connecting them.(that's not what he called the lesson) I played around with it and some techniques I have picked up and actually came up with some stuff that sounds like music. My question is, Do all the scales have these type of boxes and were can I find the info.(edit) also if I understand it right if I can move these boxes any were on the fretboard and they never change shape.
