Ya I just want to emphasize that no matter what method you choose to follow....NONE OF THEM WILL WORK if you don't practice constantly. Even if you take a break for a couple days, you can forget a lot. I've fallen into the bad habit of starting then stopping for a while, then having to go back and relearn. I've been on the damn first position for about a year because I am not being consistent in my practicing. I think most methods will work and you don't necessarily have to be picky about trying to find the best. They will all work if you just keep practicing. Like everything else you do on the guitar.

I've been using a book by Fredrick Noad called "Solo Guitar Playing". It is more for a nylon string guitar though. I've also started using the Berklee one mentioned earlier. That one has a TON of info in all 3 volumes. You won't finish the first volume for a loooooong time.
