Welcome back everyone – last time in part two of grade three we finished off grade 3 transposition and looked at compound time. This time around in part three we'll be covering new minor keys for grade 3 and the grouping of notes in compound time. As ever, please keep taking the time to review past sections to help cement it all in your own minds, all previous parts are indexed HERE .

So, onward with grade 3...

Minor Keys

In addition to those introduced in previous parts, there are six new minor keys to learn in grade 3. These are B minor, F# minor, C# minor, G minor, C minor and (phew!) F minor. Key signatures shown below:
