Its not really blues, I guess you could at least argue thats its a tad jazz. And it doesn't really involve a slide (I suppose you could incorporate one into the song somewhere, eh). And its not completely open D, yet open D minor (meaning the F is natural rather than sharped).

So all in all, its not at all what your looking for : /

But you may enjoy it and want to learn it anyway. Funny enough, its actually a Progressive Death Metal band; you probably wouldnt have guessed from that song.
