Upgrading a cheapo Brownsville electric

I got a cheap ($150 new) Brownsville LC33 guitar from my sister for free and want to upgrade the pickups. Nothing crazy, just want a different sound. Something with a more bite and high-end output. But before I go and start throwing different pickups in there, I wanted to know if anyone else has had any experience with this brand of guitar, and could suggest anything. Again, I'm not looking to do anything major, I'm just bored and want to do something with this guitar.

You can probably get some good pick ups here for what you want. I haven't purchased from Guitar Fetish myself, but I have read a lot of good things from people that have.
